Terms of Use — CueMirror
English · Português · Español
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of CueMirror (“the app”), a teleprompter application developed by Murillo Maciel (“we”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your devices. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
2. Your scripts
The scripts you create are stored on your device’s local storage (see the Privacy Policy). You are solely responsible for the content you create and for your own backups. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, your scripts are lost unless your Google or Apple account’s system backup restores them. We have no access to that backup and cannot recover your scripts.
3. Free plan and Premium
The app has a free plan and an optional Premium plan, sold as a subscription. The features of each plan are described in the app and on the store page, and may change over time.
4. Subscription
- Plans: monthly and yearly, with the same Premium features. The price, currency and period are shown in the app before you buy, and vary by country and store.
- Payment: you are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on where you installed the app. We do not receive or store payment details.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period at the same price until you cancel it. On the Apple App Store, it renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: done in the store. On Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. On Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and Premium stays active until then. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Changing plans: done in the store.
- Refunds: governed by the store’s policies and applicable law, and must be requested from the store. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
- Price changes: the store notifies you and, where required, asks for your consent before charging the new price.
- Restore purchase: the subscription is tied to your Google or Apple account, not to an app account (the app has no accounts). Under Settings → Purchase → Restore purchase, the app asks the store whether an active subscription exists. The subscription is not shared between Android and iOS: each store bills separately.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app unlawfully, not to try to bypass subscription verification, and not to interfere with the app’s operation.
6. Availability and warranties
The app is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts for it to work well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Because the app may be used for important recordings, we recommend testing your script and settings before recording. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost recordings, profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
7. Privacy
How data is handled, including how to turn off usage and crash data, is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. If you keep using the app after a change, we understand that you accept the new version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, the consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply and, in Brazil, the courts of your domicile.
10. Additional terms for iOS users
If you installed the app from the Apple App Store:
- These terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- The license is limited, for use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms.
- If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the app’s purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, privacy and intellectual property claims.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app (for example, your wireless data provider’s terms).
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
